Posted - 21 January 2009 : 15:03:41 More questions I'm afraid! 1. should I cancel my mobile contract before BR and Orange do? It was a major problem of mine until very recently. and 2. My current account is with Alliance & Leicester, Never had overdraft and only ever gone overdrawn a couple of times for a day maximum. All my benefits etc are paid into this account and all DD come out. Should I transfer to Co-op? Should I do so now or wait till after BR? Thanks

1. Don't automatically assume your contract will be cancelled. I kept my T-Mobile contract during BR no problem. 2. It is at your bank manager's discretion whether to freeze your account or not. I would sugegst having a chat with him/her just prior to going BR to see if they'll keep the account open. If not, open the new account after BR.
