Posted - 21 January 2009 : 21:43:31 HI, I am about to make myself Bankrupt :( I am the sole name on my mortgage and on the deeds, but my partner has a deed of trust on the house, as she part exchanged her house for the one we are in now. There is no equity in the house, even before the deed of trust is taken into account (35k). Will I loose my house????

as long as you can afford the mortgage payments you will not lose the house.
There can be no claim against the property either as it is in considerable negative equity.
