Posted - 22 January 2009 : 12:16:15 I have moved to Australia to start a new life, I have a house in England which is being repossesed due to my ex-partner not paying the mortgage and I also have credit cards and loads which I cant afford to pay, I only earn enough to pay my rent and food and have no means to pay any of my debts. I would like to go bankrupt but dont know how to go about it as all my debts are back in England.

You'll either have to come back to the UK to do your bankruptcy, or engage a professional firm to do it for you under a Power of Attorney.
