Hi all !!

Well thought i would let you know i phoned Tax Credits office today and spoke with a really nice lady about my overpayments and asked when would i start getting wtc back as i included the overpayments on my soa - she very politely told me that they would continue to take overpayments off me until they received my br discharge certificate - which means i still pay the overpayment back until im discharged and proove it .

I am a little sad about this, however have not done my i&e based on getting it again. I did phone the OR's office to double check this and was told that they were not included in my br anyway and that the Tax Credit helpline were correct.

Oh and i was also told that my file has been transferred to rtlu - what does this mean ????
Also, hubby sent offer of bi to original OR - what will happen to that, will they send it all across ??

Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)

From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))

xx

Hi Movin on,

The RTLU is the regional unti of the Insolvency Service. It is very common for cases to be passed to them once the OR has done their initial assessment. No need to worry!

The OR will forward everything on to the RTLU, so you don't need to do anything else.
