Posted - 22 January 2009 : 19:05:28 I am considering declaring bankrupcy due due a low income and debts. I currently have an attachment to earnings for unpaid council tax and joint own a 3 bedroom house with a housing associateion which I own 25%.Is this the best option?

I'm afraid it's not practical to advise you of your best course of action based on the few details posted. What is the current value of your 25% stake in the property and what is the sum total of your mortgage?
