Posted - 02 February 2009 : 15:26:36 I was made bankrupt in 2005. Joint Mortgage my partner has the prooperty since 1986 i was put on the property deeds in 2004 the trustee took half the equity (£13,500) is this rightful? My circumstances also changed my partner lost her job and was not earning for 8mths. I have explained why i have not kept up with income payment as there was only one income. yet the trustee still insists i pay £2,000 outstanding. We are just surviving as my partner has just regained work, we had to borrow from family just to live and pay the bils. Can she not make allowances or do i have to pay up?

Did you advise them of your changes in income/circumstance as an when they changed?
