Posted - 08 February 2009 : 10:38:28 Hi
the matter of pensions in bankruptcy is a very complex issue. To give accurate advice there may well be details required from you that you yourself are not readily aware of.
I would therefore suggest you contact The Pensions Advisory Service on this issue, particularly as your post suggests you have a number of "pots."
I would have preferred to cut and paste the OR's guidelines regarding pensions but it would have read like War & Peace!!!
Please find the TPAS contact details below which is a free service.
Tel: 0845 6012923 (Help line -manned by pensions professional who will provide information and guidance on any aspect of occupational, personal, stakeholder or state pensions)
Note: this help line is for members of the public and should not be used by the official receiver.
Further information on TPAS may be obtained at www.opas.org.uk
