hello everyone can someone answer me this question.went br january this year.just recieved letter as regards beneficial interest in my property.my partner will purchase this.they have asked me to send them an upto date valuation of my property and confirmation of the amounts owing eg mortgage and secured loan.they said once they have recieved these we can go ahead and buy it for £1.plus £211 fees. i rang them and they told me to go and see mu own solicitor to sort it out my end.the question is i thought they did that.will i have to pay more costs for my own solicitor also.confused now.anyone help as what to do. thanks

Hi

you do not need to use your own solicitor but in the interests of best practice the OR is suggesting you do so for your own peace of mind. That is, to have a solicitor in your corner as it were.

Once the OR is satisfied regarding negative equity you will, or rather your partner will, just need to send in the £212.
