Posted - 13 February 2009 : 14:13:31 Hi everyone. A couple of questions please. Firstly Im booked in to go BR on the 18th of march my situation is this; Im currently on JSA but I start a new job on the 2nd of march, currently as a family we recieve approx £220 per week with CTC and CB. I will be signed off the dole from 2nd march when I start my new job nut I dont get paid from new job until beggining of April as I have to work a month up front. My questions are; 1, what do I put as my income? Do I put my proposed income at the end of the month or the benefits I have been recieving? 2, when I fill in the income and expenditure do I write the maximums for foods, mortgage, petrol etc? At the moment Im not paying my mortgage due to lack of income and also in arrears with utilities. We are currently scraping by on minimum shopping etc.. But when I start my job and go BR I expect to be able to pay my mortgage and start to fill the cupboards and keep up to date with utilities etc... We are a family of four with neg equity and no assets. Any help would be really appreciated. |

Posted - 13 February 2009 : 18:52:52 Hi
the document must represent your position as at the date you petition the court.
So you need to put the new salary as the income figure and do not need to list any benefit which, as of the first day of your new job, you will not be claiming.
The expenditures should reflect the norm for your household therefore if you plan to keep the property then you should enter the mortgage amount even if you have not being paying it recently.

Posted - 13 February 2009 : 14:22:47 Hi,
Don't know the answers I'm afraid, but just didn't want you to think that you were being ignored! The site seems a bit bereft of posters at the moment!
The glimmer gets brighter all the time
