Posted - 13 February 2009 : 18:20:46 Hi
Got a letter from Orange threatening me with Fraud, due to taking out a mobile contract without intention to pay, however this isnt the case, I took on the contract for laptop and Broadband with the knowledge as i informed of going into a DMP, however due to changes of circumstances I made the decision to go bankrupt, before my bankruptcy I Rang orange explained what was going on, and they said they will close the account down, I offered the laptop back but they didnt want it back, and I also explained the same to the official receiver.
What should I Do, is this just an empty threat, I was going to write to Orange and explain as above,
What would you advise, i dont want to get arrested for Fraud.

Posted - 13 February 2009 : 18:27:48 Hi Stu,
I know that Orange have a habit of cancelling the contracts of people who have gone bankrupt, but I've not heard of them doing this before.
Are you still maintaining the payments into the contract?
The glimmer gets brighter all the time
