Posted - 16 February 2009 : 08:23:15 I am 7 months into a 36 month IPA I had requested a review due to a change in circumstances (my income has increased and also my Partner and I are expecting a baby in May), the OR has decreased my payments by £50 a month which is great :) however they have also started my IPA again so I have another 36 months to pay.
Is this right I would have thought I would just keep paying for the remaining 29 months.
Thanks

I would ring them to get it clarified as it sounds as if they have just sent out the standard form without making the necessary amendments for the months you have already paid.

Posted - 16 February 2009 : 08:34:38 What they have sent me is a whole new IPA agreement the same I signed before which says payments start from march 2009 for 36 moths

Posted - 16 February 2009 : 08:26:03 Give the OR a ring to ckeck - the period is usually 36 months in total and does not re start at a review, perhaps the letter is misleading, i would get them to confirm either way to you, and if it is going to restart demand an explanation as to why
