Is a debt relief order the same as an Administration Order?

Posted - 17 February 2009 : 18:48:56 If her debt is £3,000 and therefore under the £15k threshold for a Debt Relief Order which will come into effect from 6th April - she would be far better off making an appointmnt with her local Citizens Advice Bureau to apply for a Debt Relief Order as opposed to filing for bankruptcy. The fee for this will be £90 as opposed to £495 for filing her petition in Bankruptcy
