Im worried what will happen, i have 10 day old son,2 daughters,wife....some months my left over £££££'s will be more than others due to my job.. The wife maternity pay is minimal,just dont want money worries all over again? |

Posted - 19 February 2009 : 08:43:22 If you have £100 or more surplus income a month you will get an Income Payment Agreement and would pay 50-70% of your surplus depending how much you had. There is a table in my blog showing how much you could expect to pay.
I'm not sure how this would work as your surplus varies - hopefully one of the experts will be able to advise.
If it was only you going BR your wife's income wouldn't be taken into account, but you would need to state on the forms how much (if anything) that she contributes to the household.
