Posted - 21 February 2009 : 11:09:58 Despite being on nil tax code since September i have still not been contacted to arrange payment as my IPU. Every day that passes i am teasing myself more and more with the possibility of them forgetting somehow. Anyone else waited 5 or 6 months for this money to be collected? Anyone ever had this money forgotten about? |

Posted - 22 February 2009 : 21:06:05 All the money is safely tucked away, it just seems a long time for it not to have been asked for. I did have a letter early on saying that a company (can't remember name) would be in touch to set up a DD. I called the company and they said they had no record of me. I called the OR and they said some other company would now be looking after it and they would be in touch. Four months on and still nothing. I know it is a long shot but i can't help thinking, WHAT IF??? |

If you are saving the money all well and good but if you don't it could give you a big headache later. |

Posted - 21 February 2009 : 13:16:08 Forgot to mention, i was discharged in December as well. They have written to me to buy the BI but still no mention of the tax payments. Any idea how long they have to collect this? is it 3 years like they have with your house? |

Posted - 21 February 2009 : 11:45:56 mm, they were a bit useless when my OH went bankrupt, we just put the money to one side, they should have asked for 5 months of tax but in the end they only asked for 3 |
