hi firstly i just want to quickly say that this is the first forum i have ever used so sorry if i'm getting anything wrong, but anyway what i'd like to know is that when i decide to go bankrupt is there any reasons that may result in the O,R refusing to let me do it,

oh right thank you so much for your help and advice i just find it all quite daunting but i cant make my family suffer for my debts for much longer.

Hi Gareth

it is your civil right to declare yourself bankrupt as long as you are insolvent.

That is your debts outweigh the value of any and all of your assets.

You must also have taken advice and be aware of the repercussions of bankruptcy.
