Hubby has his F2F interview with Sheffield OR next week. What can he expect? I'm not sure who's more nervous, me or him. The woman he is seeing sounded very stern on the phone when I confirmed the appointment.
Luckily he has Ken or Paul from Reviva going with him, although the OR woman thought that very unusual!!

Thanks for all the reassurance. I also spoke to the wonderfully patient Ken from Reviva today and all concerns have been put into perspective. Now just to argue with the bank who have decided to issue a default notice on our mortgage and secured loan, despite the fact they are in joint names, I've not gone BR and we've never missed a payment on time and don't intend to. Typical HSBC, jumping in feet first without thinking :)

If it hadn't been for the fact it's a horrible journey to Croydon I would have preferred a face to face interview - I feel you can relate to someone better if they are in front of you.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

We both went BR last OCT 08.
We had a face to face and to be fair, rather enjoyed it. You get a feel for the OR and they get a feel for what your about. You can put your case fwd a lot better in a face to face.
We also had a follow up telephone interview and to be honest, would rather have gone ack for a face to face.
You have nothing to worry about, aslong as everything is above board then you will be fine., |

Hello there, you have nothing to worry about, even if you were going without the support of Paul or Ken. I presume that your husband has been trading at some point - as such all 'traders' are offered a face 2 face interview at the OR's office (s very small portion of non traders also get given F2F interviews too!) to be honest although it may seem daunting, it is a far better way of dealing with it, and everything can be sorted and explained fully which is sometime difficult over the telephone. Make sure you have as much paperwork with you as you can lay your hands on (and in some sort of order)as this will make the process much easier, the examiner will then take the paperwork off your hands.
Don't worry about the examiner sounding stern, they usually are not after all they have a job to do

Sorry, can’t answer your question but we went bankrupt on the 12 Feb at Sheffield and are still waiting for our interview dates from the OR there. Partner has requested a face to face, so will be interested in the replies you receive.
Also, did they take some time to get back to you? We received a phone call each on the day of our BR but haven’t heard a thing from them since – we can only presume they are very busy!
