Posted - 24 February 2009 : 09:25:03 Should I contact my creditors? I went BR in Jan but still getting calls etc from them. Is there anything that I need to ask them to do? |

Posted - 24 February 2009 : 14:13:23 Its purely down to personal choice, i myself would not bother - that is one of the roles of the official receiver and i would save on the stamps! but i am not the person answering the phone. Just tell them that you have been made bankrupt on ..... at such and such court with the ref number.... and put the phone down.
The will be notified by the OR but computer systems seem to take forever to be updated and for calls to stop, try screening your calls, but i appreciate this may be difficult if they are ring you ate work for example. Just tell them as stated above.
