Posted - 01 March 2009 : 13:28:01 Hi gally
am I correct in thinking your first initial is P and the last 2 digits of your contact number 35?
If they are then your email reached me via the site you used and both the site administrator and I have called you from our mobiles (Friday) but no answer. (We usually withhold our numbers for obvious reasons as we would be inundated).
If you would like to discuss your position outside of the forum please feel free to call the 0800 helpline number or alternatively Paul Johns via his weblink address.
My company, however, only offers free advice via the forum. As a matter of policy we no longer accept clients through the forum but merely wish to offer free advice as and when we are able and our own workload permits.
The company name on my posts (as a signature) is to reassure members that I am, indeed, the professional I claim to be and not an attempt to procure business. That's why there is no contact number and no weblink.
Having said all of that and as you have already gone to so much trouble, and I already have your number if, indeed, I have your identity correct, please just post confirmation that it is you and a date and time to call you and I will gladly speak with you on the subject of BI. Please remember the call will be a withheld one.

Posted - 28 February 2009 : 20:06:13 Hi
there isn't an option to reject the notice or a requirement for your signature.
It's a notice to advise you of what has already happened.
It will have no impact on any attempts to purchase BI as the notice is removed at land registry at the request of the OR when this happens.
It's not to stop a transfer of ownership or a purchase, it's so that these things cannot happen without the OR's knowledge and agreement.

I have also received a B178 and I was wondering whether you needed to object or accept, and return a signed copy, when purchasing BI?
Thanks

Posted - 24 February 2009 : 20:33:31 Hi and good evening to you
this is nothing to worry about. It's just so the land registry know they must contact the Official Receiver if a sale of property process were to commence as your BI lies with him now - a precaution to stop a bankrupt selling the property and pocketing the proceeds. Highly unlikely in today's environment.
