I have an appointment tomorrow for my bankruptcy hearing and there are two things really concerning me.
Firstly, as a bit of background, up until September 2008 I was married and working full time, I developed a gambling habit and some of my debt is due to this. Unfortunately my marriage broke down and as a result my husband moved out and I had to give up my job (I have three children).

I have £27,000 of debt, £10,000 of which is joint with my husband. Now surviving on benefits I cannot afford to make the payments on my debts and have been advised by two debt advisory companies that bankruptcy was my best option.
My questions are this, firstly I have been given money by friends and family since my separation to help with paying bills, which has been paid into my current account - will the OR question this?
Secondly I did something really stupid in January and applied for a payday loan for £130, even though I was no longer in employment, I was desperate at the time, although I know this is no excuse. I'm guessing this will be viewed as recieving money fraudulently and I want to know what action will be taken against me?
To be honest my life couldn't get any worse, so whatever they do I will accept as my fate, as I got myself into this mess I only have myself to blame. I just want to be as prepared as I can be
Any advice gratefully recieved
