Posted - 25 February 2009 : 09:52:01 Hi Everyone
I have only just been declared bankrupt, but want to set up a file ready so that once discharged I can proactively sort my credit files, so that in 6 years they are squeaky clean.
Does anyone have any links to letter templates etc that can be used to send to creditors or credit reference agencys etc, also when should I commence this before or after discharge.
Any help would be greatfully received.
Thanks |

Posted - 25 February 2009 : 13:12:40 It does, but when you are BR creditors aren't allowed to default you after the BR date. I asked them to amend the default dates accordingly, and mark the account as satisfied or partially satisfied so they can't default me again.

Posted - 25 February 2009 : 13:05:27 I waited until after discharge to do mine, as you have to send proof of discharge to your creditors.
