Hi there and welcome to the forum, if you have debts and are unable tp pay then bankruptyc may be the right solution for you. What are your total debts - as i can then see which of the options may be the best. If your debts are under £15k you maybe able to apply for the new Debt Relief Order which is coming into force on 6th April (you would have to make an appointment with your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)to apply for one of these and the fee is £90) If your debts are over £15k then perhpas bankruptcy maybe the best option the fees for this are £495 but you will get a reduction of £150 if your are in receipt of qualifying benefits. There is also a scheme operated for people on low incomes, again via your local CAB where dependant on which utilities supplier you have a voucher can be provided to assist with the payment of the OR's fee.

Make an appointment at your local office and they will soon assist you
