Posted - 27 February 2009 : 09:28:15 Hi
I was declared BR yesterday and the official receivers office told me not to use my bank account however £91 work expenses have been paid in TODAY which I need for my petrol next week. The account was hopefully being frozen yesterday so the payment would bounce but it has not happened yet. The OR office told me that any money paid to me after the BR was officially mine even though my account is overdrawn. I am so tempted to try and draw this money out but don't want to get into trouble with the OR.
Has anyone been in a similar situation

Posted - 27 February 2009 : 13:00:20 Hi Melanie
I transferred it on line from my Halifax acc and 30 mins later it was sat nicely in my Co-op acc ready for work expenses next week.
Thank you

Posted - 27 February 2009 : 10:12:12 Just spoke to OR office and she told me that the money in rightfully mine because it is after BR so I have transferred it to my new Co Op account. At least if the OR asks about it I will have proof that I needed it for work expenses.
