Posted - 03 March 2009 : 15:52:41 Hi
I am going BK on 23 of this month. I still get letters from creditors even though I have explained Spencer Hayes handle my debts (and have done for 6 years)!
However, I have a new creditor who has taken the debt over from Vanquis and they are called 1st Credit. Have heard they are right cowboys!! Anyway, just to stop the letters etc, do you think it is advisable to tell them I am going BK which may put an end to them and others contacting me?
Thanks, Andy

Posted - 03 March 2009 : 16:27:54 Thanks Melanie
I was not planning on writing to them, just calling them and telling them to back off as the letter 1st Direct sent was quite threatening and aggressive (and no one likes to be threatened do they). Just wanted to know they could not do anything prior to BK appointment on 23rd March.
