Hi,

I spoke to the OR on Monday and they confirmed that the are releasing me from my Bankruptcy in 2 weeks max.

I have been offered a job, which starts on Monday and dont know whether to inform the OR of a change in circumstance as I am keen to avoid paying a contribution to the creditors monthly (I have forgotten the correct term) for the sake of 2 weeks, or decline the job to be on the safe side?

Please advise!

Jurell

Hi

at the end of the day from your post you are aware that you are legally obliged to inform the OR of any change in circumstances.

Your circumstances have not changed until you start the new job. You could ask for more time to consider the position offered (say 3 weeks), take up the offer and inform the OR, or refuse the position to be on the safe side - if it were me I would go for the 3rd option if you are confident of finding an alternative soon or for option 2.
