Posted - 04 March 2009 : 12:19:04 I woke up this morning confused again!! Not hard. As I mentioned in previous threads I have now got the agreement on rented property. I am picking up the keys on 20th of this month and will vacate this house over that weekend. Is it better for me to file now before I move? And if it is after I move do I put both new monthly rental down plus my mortgage payments which I wont then be paying? I am very sure I will be having an IPA as once my mortgage is taken out of the equation my disposable will be a lot higher than the threshold.
I know I may be had the question answered by cant find in the threads. |

Posted - 04 March 2009 : 13:30:52 Hi Frosie,
When completing the forms do your expenditure as of today, not what they will be in the future. When the or calls you for the interview after your BR then you can explain to her whats happening re you living accom and bills, then she will advise.
Im my experiance my BR was completed in 1 day, then had a call from the OR arranging the phone interview, which was about a week later. I was shcoked how straight forward and painless the whole process is. The OR's deal with so many different situations, you will be fine. |

Posted - 04 March 2009 : 13:15:47 Have just rung the number given me for the OR department. She just said bring forms to the local county court and they will then direct me as to what to do? Presumably then if I do that on the 24th they may do the whole thing on that day? |

Posted - 04 March 2009 : 13:05:40 Thanks Jurell, it does help. What I thought of doing was to file on the 24th, the monday after I get the rented. I am ploughing through the form and can only put down direct debits for current bills as I dont know what they will be in the smaller house. I thought of doing it all with this address then when I go on the 24th to tell them that as of few days previous now at new address? Crikey I had better ring the court and book then for 24th or 25th? Thanks for advice. |

Posted - 04 March 2009 : 12:53:37 Hi Frosie,
I dont think it really matters as you need to keep the OR informed of any change in circumstance, which you would have to do on the 20th and they will re evaluate your income and out goings. Personally I think its better to get things moving asap.
Also when I booked my hearing there was a 3 week waiting list.
Hope this helps,
