Posted - 04 March 2009 : 13:25:51 Hi I'm new on this forum. I have just filed for bankruptcy and have a question if anyone can help with. My mam signed for a tv for me a while ago, it's still not payed in full and is only in my mams name, will the trustee be able to sell the tv for payment towards my creditors?

If the TV is in your moms name and it is on HP then the OR cannot touch it.
The TV still belongs to the HP company until it is paid for, so the OR cannot touch any goods under an HP agreement.
