Hi all,

I will be going bankrupt in April, my bank account with barclays will of course be frozen when i do, how can i keep sky/broadband when i know the direct debit due out next week will be refused(my overdraft is upto the limit) this is very important to me, not for pleasure i don,t need the tv but without broadband the new business i am trying to establish will suffer greatly. I will try for the co-op cashminder account after bankruptcy but what do i do in the meantime to pay my sky bill i do have a little cash to pay this month but just don't know how to.

Thanks
Sott

There is nothing wrong with you opening the co-op or other alternative account for pay and bills prior to bankruptcy. It is easier to do it this way, this account then does not need to be listed on your forms as the forms relate to bank accounts where you woe money. When you have your telephone meeting with the OR you can inform them that you have made alternative arrangements for pay and bills via a new account and give them details, this way you save the account (if on the forms) being temporarily frozen
