Rent: £265 Housekeeping: £250 Gas/Electric: £70 Water: £28.00 Telephone: £25.00 Travel to/from work: £20.00 Clothing: £50.00 Council Tax: £42.00 TV Licence: £6.00 Meals at work: £30.00 Medical: £10 Dentist: £20.00 Fuel/Parking: £30.00 Car insurance: £25.00 Car tax: £12.00 Car servicing: £30.00 Roadside assistance: £12.00 Domestic break: £30.00
Not sure if the OR will allow everything or agree to the amounts, but I thought It's better to ask then I can at least say I tried.

Posted - 09 March 2009 : 11:37:29 I think it depends on whether you get a strict OR or not, we are 2 adults and 3 teenagers, I put down £100 per month clothing and the OR cut it to £80. Food/housekeeping was £545, he commented it was high but did not cut it. Not allowed a holiday/break. |

Posted - 09 March 2009 : 11:15:17 £50 - £80 pm for clothes for 2 adults and three children....are you kidding? also im sure the guidelines for housekeeping for 5 is around £550pm, add to this that one of them is a baby! is there anything else i should be adding?

Posted - 09 March 2009 : 10:30:27 Hi Mac
I think the housekeeping is a little high especially as you are also claiming £50 pm for meals at work, it should probably be nearer £450-£500. Also clothing should be nearer the £50-£80 mark.
However, unless you ask you won't get, so it may be worth asking for the allowance anyway.
