can anyone help. jan23rd went BR no OR call yet but today had a letter that in 2004-2005 we were not paid wnough working tax credit, they they have wrote to say they are going to send a cheque for £1245 in the next 21 days, will i have to give this to the OR,

yes i see what you mean, it was through this that all our troubles started,
do i contact OR now or wait till cheque comes.

Hi pixiepet

I'm afraid you will have to give this to the OR. The reasoning behind this is that some of the credit you may have incurred in that period may not have been created if you had received that money. Therefore it would be only right for creditors to benefit now.
