Posted - 22 March 2009 : 14:12:18 could someone please advise me whats best to do? im at court on tuesday to declare bankruptcy but dont get paid till thursday(i get paid weekly) so would it be best to get my wages paid into my new bank account rather than my present one, bank of scotland, as i know they are connected to intelligent finance, one of my creditors. also, my new bank account is a co-op cashminder account and do i need to inform the co-op of my bankruptcy as i havent listed this on my forms thought it would be better to mention this in my O.R. interview instead. thanks, tim. |

Posted - 22 March 2009 : 20:30:03 Hi Tim My court hearing is tomorrow. Just to give you my personal experience, I rang the Co-op on Friday to let them know about court and they said they were happy to keep Cashminder accounts open throughout the bankruptcy unless the OR specifically tells them differently. Definitely get your wages into the Cashminder if you can and if you need to contact the Co-op I can tell you they are completely matter-of-fact about bankruptcy and very helpful.

Posted - 22 March 2009 : 14:14:43 Hi
definitely arrange for your wages to go into the cashminder account if you can before Thursday.
Don't worry about not listing this account on your SoA just be sure to advise the examiner of it at interview as planned.
