Posted - 22 March 2009 : 14:21:20 I had registered company while living in UK. Due to some bad investments I lost all assets of the limited company (This is one-person company). The company is due taxes about 20 000 pounds which I do not have. Can I declare bankruptsy of the company? How can you help me with this? I presently live in Slovakia, I am not UK citizen.

You need to speak to an Insolvency Practitioner to explore the possibility of placing the company in voluntary liquidation. You may also have to seek a solution for any personal guarantees that you may have given for any bank borrowings following the liquidation of the company - the Insolvency Practitioner you speak to will be able to advise you on this
