As you are in receipt of benefits ie low income- do you have any utility accounts ie gas electric or water in your name? if so, contact your local Citizen Advice Bureau as you may qualify for a voucher to meet the majority if not all of the ptition costs. This is not an advertised scheme, but if you make an appointment with a money advicer at the CAB and ask them direct they can let you know whether or not your qualify.

Incidentally what is the level of your unsecured debt? I only ask as if under £15k you may qualify for the new Debt Relief Order coming into force from 6th April whereby if you owe under £15k and have no assets (ie renting or with parents and a car under £1k in value)you may qualify as they fees for this are only £90 with no court or OR interview - Again your local CAB will be administering this service.

Hi, I got £150 off....although i didn`t think i would with incapacity. I phoned the court, and they sent out a form, and told me to phone the benefit office, and get them to send a letter stating that i received benefits. The letter from your benefits office, must be in the same month you go B.R. Then staple the 2 together, and present them to the court. I took an extra £150, just in case!. I think the trick was, that the benefits letter, didn`t state `Incapacity`....soo just ask for a letter confirming you are on benefits. Sorry for the length of this reply!.
