Posted - 25 March 2009 : 12:08:54 Hi paulsc,
Yes you can. I set up a co-op cashminder account a month before I declared BK and arranged for my pay to go into this account and all my direct debits with no problem. A few days before BK i went into the branch to inform the manager and asked him to make sure my account was not frozen. Again, there were no problems and I have been able to use this account throughout the bankruptcy procedures. I didn't include this account on the SOA form as I had no debts with this bank, although I did inform the OR of the account when I spoke to her on the phone a few days after I declared BK. Again, she said this was fine and I would be able to continue using this account.
