Well I checked on the register earlier today and there I was in bright lights and all. But didn't I get a shock when I saw friends of mine right below my name! I had no idea about their problems, just so happened they have same surname as me! So scary.

Hi 30% of households struggle to pay their monthly bills. I suspect that this figure will rise to around 50% this year.

Hats off to everyone who has realised that their is a problem and have had the courage and dignity to deal wit it ( IVA, Bankruptcy, DMP etc etc ).

Only by dealing with it are you likely to get your life back.

I was recently in a board room with the MD and 5 directors. We were discussing the closure of the company, redundancies etc etc and the MD was really frightened about all the personal guarantees that he ahd in place and that he "knew that if he went br then there would never be any light at the end of the tunnel....."

It was a big suprise to him that 2 of his directors openly admitted that they had been made br in the 90's because of the housing crash and he could then clearly see that there was a life to win afterwards.

Hi

scary indeed.

I would imagine, in a strange way, to see their names was quite a comfort yet on the other hand as they are friends you will have felt the empathy as, no doubt, they would if they knew about you.

Bankruptcy, or rather the pressure of overwhelming debts prior to bankruptcy, is indeed very scary and that's why I would chose bankruptcy as a solution to debt 9 times out of 10. It puts you in control.

It's no cake walk though of course.
