I was made BK yesterday and I am currently unemployed. Should I find work in the year before being discharged does the OR get to get any of that money?

Right now I have no disposable income because I unable to find work. If I am able to find a job, more than half would be taken up with childcare costs so I can go to work.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi

yes temporary work should be reported to the OR.

IPA's are as flexible as your change in DI requires it to be and not a fixed sum for a fixed period.

Thanks John. Does the same apply to temporary work? Because we all know how unreliable that can be. You may get something for 2 weeks or 2 months and then you are in the same position again of being without work. It kinda makes it difficult to be able to pay with any consistency into an IPA.

Hi

assuming it happens before discharge, if and when you find work you must first inform the OR then your I&E must be resubmitted using the forms they will send out to you.

If there is DI over and above £99 per month then yes you will be required to pay a per centage towards an IPA which lasts for 3 years from the date of the IPA's inception.

Childcare is an allowable expenditure claim.
