Had first chat with our OR yesterday after going BR 31st. He was really nice, but did say due to the high level of our debt we may have to have face to face interview, and he would let us know.
Does this imply we are more likely to get a BRO? I am half expecting this as there is no doubt we should have realised much earlier our debts were getting out of control.

Thanks
Jayne

Its a real simple process. I was nervous about face to face but after it was very happy that it turned out that way. Completly non judgmental during. After all she told me that she did about 10 a day.
Good luck.

Hi Jayne,

I had a face to face interview. Took 2.5 hours. I would describe it as a necessary evil! The OR was not chatty but professional and unjudgemental, which actually helps keep your head clear. And it goes really quickly :)

Good luck, it'll be fine x

Once again Melanie, many thanks for your advise and support. This forum has honestly saved me from going mad over the last few months, and I do already feel, if not better, certainly on my way there.

Hi Jayne - I completely agree with maisie's comments with regard to a face to face interview, they are nothing to worry about and most people prefer that option having gone through the process. With regard to the IPO, it could be up to 3 months before you hear anything with regard to the order/amount/date to start paying - the good news is that it is not backdated. Use the time to carefully go through your expenditure to ensure you have accounted for eveything. Have a look on skippy's blog as she has a whole range of info on the IPO income & expenditure and what she claimed and had included, it can be really helpful.

Well done on following through with the process of bankrtupcy, you probably won't agree with me yet, but it will really be the best thing you could have done to look towards a future without the worry of debt

Thanks Maizie

Just want to get it over and done with now, and your right we don't want credit again anyway.

Any idea how long it will take until interview, and from there how long until IPO agreed, and starts been paid?

Hi jayne1970

I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest with you, I had a telephone interview but I know from other comments from people on this forum who have had a face to face interview, they would prefer it. It gives you a chance to get your point across, sometimes its not easy on the phone! It will also give you a chance to see your OR's reaction.

If you did get a BRO it wouldn't really be a bad thing, I mean do you really want credit again anyway?! It just means your restrictions last a bit longer.

Maizie
