Can they take your passport away from you, or are people just telling me horror stories?? My mum and dad are wanting to take me and my little boy on holiday after a stressfull 2 years following the breakup of my marriage and him leaving me and my little boy to pay mortgage etc.

Look forward to hearing the response

Hope someone can help!!

if you happen to be flying with ryanair be aware that they are doing away with check in desks at airports and charging large sums of money if you don't check in online.
check in for the return flight before you leave or you will have to find an internet cafe whilst away.

We can only go as we stayed in a friend's apartment, so all we need to find is cheap flights and food money

i know someone who went to Australia for a month within 6 months of being BR so you definately keep your passport

They definitely DON'T take your passports, we have been to Cyprus every year, even whilst bankrupt

Hi

if you are a bankrupt the correct procedure, if your holiday abroad is for 2 weeks or more, is to notify the examiner dealing with your case.

No problem with you actually going and you will definitely keep your passport.

I'm pretty sure that your passport is safe and you are allowed to go on holiday abroad.
