If that is so Melanie, would you have to put that one down as it can only be used to have your benefits paid into, it's not a bank account as such.
The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Posted - 06 April 2009 : 12:31:25 Hi there, from a purely practical position if you have opened a new basic bank account for salary purposes etc, which is not linked to any of your creditors, I usually advise people not to enter this on the forms, as the forms are related to any bank ccounts which you hold which you may have overdraft or bank loans or credito cards linked. All accounts listed on the forms will be closed following the bankruptcy order. Although any basic accounts which have been listed will be unforzen this can take a few days to action, so i tell people not to list so that they are nor stuck without access to funds.
Hope this helps, you will though only need to mintain one basic account throughout the bankruptcy.
