Posted - 06 April 2009 : 22:32:09 Hi all,
Got my court date tomorrow, nervous but looking forward to the last but one hurdle. Thought I would share a gem of a phone call I had today from representatives of MBNA!! Call went along the lines of: "You are in arrears". "Yes". "You need to make a payment by debit card". "No, not possible". I then elaborated and said "court date tomorrow, cannot pay etc. .... and I have written to say remove my numbers from your database, this is my work number, you are getting me in trouble by phoning me at work etc." ...... to receive the reply, "Well if you are filing for BR tomorrow you won't have a job anyway". !!!!!!!!! How misguided are these people???? Suffice to say I just put the phone down. Roll on tomorrow. Will let you know how I get on.

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurman) Life's too short!!!

I doubt that if required they could produce the recorded telephone calls ( for training & security purposes ). I just hope that the senior team have no clue about what their front line say on the phone.
if it is company policy then we are all in trouble.
debtrider recently had a letter from a creditor stating that they knew he was in Br but unless he made a payment then a default would be registered against his name.
