Hi we are filling our applications in for our BR and where it asks for your list of creditors my wife has put down the name and address of debt collections agencys for the debts that have been passed to them. For example an orange mobile account has been passed to Moorcroft debt collectors so put there address and ref number on the form. Is this going to be ok or will we be sent away and have to arrange another appointment,

Hi
you should if possible put both the current "debt owner" and the original creditor details.
An option is to list the collecting agency details in section 4 and the original details in section 13 "additional information."

I would have thought that if the debt collection agencies were dealing with the debt then they would be the first point of contact. The OR will be fine with this, if they need to know all the details of Orange for example they will get this information from the debt collectiom agency.
You could always put orange mobile c/o moorcroft debt collectors if you wish.
I wouldn't worry about it too much.
