Posted - 26 April 2009 : 08:30:25 I'm in the process of filling in the income section of online forms, I have always done a lot of overtime,wages can vary as much as £400 a month,I have no idea what my wages on contract hours would be now as I havn't done them for that long.As asked on forms I have averaged out my wages (last 3 months).What worries me is that we have been told that for the next few months are hours are likely to be reduced, as there is no space to write this information,I could end up with an ipa that I cannot afford to pay, do I just discuss this with OR when the time comes, I had been working upto 72hours a week to try and make ends met and to be honest don't know how much longer I could have kept it up anyway.

Posted - 26 April 2009 : 08:41:48 If you haven't done the contracted hours for so long then the average over the last 3 months should be ok. Mention the fact that your hours will decrease to the OR and you can then send him/her updated pay statements once the hours have decreased and your IPA should change accordingly.
