I was declared bankrupt on 18th February this year. I had my OR interview the day afterwards. Since then I have had no contact with the OR whatsoever, not event to ask for paperwork, statements etc. Is this good or bad news. Surely he would need some sort of proof of my debts or conduct.

Can anyone shed any light?

Many thanks for all your replies, I will wait a little longer and then perhaps send an email. Maybe no news is good news after all.

Unfortunately ORs are completely swamped at the moment so don't have time for the pleasantries.

If you are waiting for something from the OR or want to check on whether they need something from you then the best way is to give them a call or send an email.

I am in similar situation. I had my interview on 20 April they asked for some more paperwork and I have not heard a word since. Surely someone should contact you and say something, we accept that all your papers are in order you will be discharged in a year. Do they not have a duty to let you what their findings are. I am still waiting to hear if my OH can purchase the beneficial interest in our property, surely they need to contact you about that. I find this side of things very unprofessional. They make so much demand for contact and paperwork but do not repay the compliment once you have supplied all the information as to the outcome of your future. How is one supposed to know what to do next!

Sometimes there isn't any need for a follow-up from the OR as all of the details were provided on the forms and during the interview. Were you due to pay an IPA? If not then there probably wouldn't be any need for the paperwork. You could always contact the OR just to confirm if they are waiting for anything from you.
