I'm getting phone calls from my creditors as I've canceled my direct debits, as i was told to stop paying them as i go bankrupt in 3 weeks time, Should i inform the creditors that i go bankrupt in 3 weeks time, would this cause more problems for me?
any help would be grateful.

either ignore the calls or answer them and fail the security questions or tell them your intentions either way in doesn't matter 3 weeks is not enough time for them to do anything at all.

It's up to you whether or not you want to tell them - for 3 weeks I would probably just not answer any phone calls unless I recognised the caller-ID.

Even if you do tell them, the automated systems will still call you until someone either sees you listed on the insolvency register or gets a copy of the paperwork from the OR so I suspect the calls would still continue.

As to whether it would cause more problems - I suspect not, as I don't think 3 weeks is enough time for any of your creditors to be able to do something legal against you (if that's what you're concerned about).

Ours carried on for a few months after BR (although we could just tell them we were BR and the call was cut short).

3 weeks isn't so long to go until a fresh start and the beginning of a new life!
