Posted - 12 May 2009 : 23:15:51 in order to disagree and have a position you would need to provide evidence such as:-
valuation from estate agents ( several) valuation from a RCIS valuer ( this will cost money but will be a firm acceptable valuation as these are used for mortgage purposes) internet comparrisons of similar houses for sale, unsold after X months etc etc etc
everything in life is up for negotiation but you need to do your homework first so you are sure of your position.
Once the position is agreed then on to the next negotiation - how and when to pay for it. Always one bit at a time.
