Posted - 18 May 2009 : 21:29:34 Hi again sorry for all the questions but or brains are about to explode.We have a ccj already do we pay our installment for this month or will that look like we are favoring a creditor.Can a ccj be counted as part of our br.Or do we put this down as part of our expenses.We dont want the baliffs to come round now. |

Posted - 19 May 2009 : 09:50:16 You should pay the CCJ until you are declared BR. I am not 100% sure if the CCJ can be counted (I think it can) but put it down on the form anyway.
The OR will understand that you wanted to pay the CCJ to hold off the bailiffs so there shouldn't be any problems. |

Posted - 19 May 2009 : 09:49:15 Hi Davelg it all depends on whether you have booked your bankruptcy hearing date - if the date is booked, you do not have to pay this months installment, but i would contact the company to whom you make the payment and advise them of your bankuptcy hearing. if however, you are still in the process of decision on bankruptcy and not yet booked the appointment you will have to make the required payment
