I have unsecured debts of around 30,000 i have not paid it for 2 years. I have just arrived back in the UK from abroad and want to deal with the debt. I am currently unemployed and think becoming bankrupt is right ffor me. I am at home with my parents have zero assets. What do you think??

Posted - 22 May 2009 : 08:38:22 From the brief info you have stated it would seem that bankruptcy is the best option, contact your local court, obtain a pack of the relevant forms for filing for bankruptcy, included will be a list of qualifying benefits which may enable you to have a reduction in the fees currently £510 (though if in receipt of a qualifiying benefit the £150 court fee may be waived.
