Budget guidelines - Hi, is there anywhere that lists a guide to how much we can put down for food, clothing and other household expenses when filling in a budget form for the OR?

The following has some guidelines that the OR's look at - www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls

Single -I put £250 down on So A, and was allowed by the OR £200 Others have said £195 for single.
Around £300 -£400 for a couple and more with children. Do not sell yourself short as you need to put down what you spend and it is usually more than you think nowadays
I wouldn't worry if yours is a bit on the high side on the S o A as the OR will later do their own calculations for the IPA,if you need one. My OR wasnt sniffy or judgemental - matter of fact said "That's a but high we can only allow £200"
There are other posts with lists elsewhere but I can't remember the 'title or the posts'

Hi,

Check out Skippy's blog - she has a spreadsheet on there which lists allowances.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
