I think I am right in saying that student loans are not covered by bankruptcy. Does this include any arrears? Can I put payments down for student loan on my outgoings.

SLC are not covered by BR and this will include any arrears. Normally the loan will be taken out of your wages before it reaches you but if this isn't the case or you are paying the arrears separately then put this down as an outgoing. If the OR questions it then you can just provide them with a letter from SLC saying that you need to pay the arrears and it shouldn't be a problem.
