Posted - 05 June 2009 : 15:14:34 I used to be with O2 and my £10 pay as you go never lasted very long. I've now changed to Vodaphone and they have a great deal at the moment in which you buy a £10 voucher and you get £50 worth of calls and texts. This means around 300 texts and 100 talk minutes, which is the best deal I've seen, so I'm happy with that and it only costs me a tenner, which lasts me a month.
Sorry, don't mean this as a advertisement, but just wanted to share this with others who are paying over the odds with other phone companies when there are better offers out there.

Posted - 04 June 2009 : 19:45:04 I'm surprised they have rejected you for that as it is on a monthly basis isn't it? You can cancel at any time.
A good pay and go to choose at the moment may be Tesco? They are advertising that when you top up with £15 they will up that credit to £45.
