Posted - 15 June 2009 : 10:15:43 have just split from my long term partner and am left to pay all the debts, I owe money to a loan 10,000 i owe 5,000 on one credit card and 8,500 to another credit card. combined the total a month is 530 per month and my mortgage is 430, this does not include gas,elec,council tax.food,petrol everyday living nor does it cover insurances etc. I only get 850 per month and 117 tax credit and dont know what to do i feel suicidal and i have to kids 10 and 12 could you advise me what to do as i don't know what to do. |

Posted - 15 June 2009 : 11:54:11 From those figures you have mentioned you are definitely insolvent but you should get advice as a DMP or IVA may be possible rather than declaring BR.
The Insolvency Helpline website has a lot of information and possible options - http://www.insolvencyhelpline.co.uk/.
You should also speak to someone regarding your situation and can get some professional advice either from the CCCS, CAB or National Debtline.
